Rosalinda D. Baldoz is the current Philippine Secretary of Labor and Employment.[1] On June 29, 2010, President Benigno Aquino III picked her as his Secretary of Labor and Employment.[1]

Before being appointed by Benigno Aquino III to the Labor and Development secretary post, Baldoz earlier served as the administrator of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).[2]

Labor and Development Secretary

After taking over the Department of Labor and Employment from Sec. Marianito Roque,"Baldoz credited him for engaging the Industry Tripartite Councils in finding solutions to the global crisis particularly its impact to the workers.

She said the former DOLE Secretary spearheaded the conduct of several multi-sectoral consultations that laid the groundwork for tripartite cooperation and collaboration aimed at addressing the problems and challenges brought about by the global crisis."[3]
